Avant-garde, the English Association of BPC College, Piravom is proud to announce Montage 2011- All Kerala Video Fiesta which is going to be conducted in the college on January 3 and 4, 2011. Through the fest we aim at creating a platform for the young movie talents across the campuses in Kerala to express and explore themselves.
We have a contesting section and screening section in the fiesta. Short Films and Documentaries made in the campuses in Kerala can be submitted to be rewarded with cash prize of Rs.2000 if selected as the best by the jurie committee in each category. And we invite all the movie buffs to be part of the fest and enrich yourself with the seminars and debates led by eminent film personalities.
Montage 2011 screens works from the masters. Films of Akira Kurazoa in the World Cinema section and the films of Satyajith Rai and Rithik ghatak in the India Panorama section. The fest have a special package for the films of women directors in India. The special section for documentaries The man with a movie camera is another attraction of the fest with tribute to the activist documentary maker C.Sarat chandran include his documentaries and the documentaries of Anand Padwardhan.
Open forums and seminars will widen the horizon of your film lessons and to inspire you to go for an out-of-the-box creation.
Happy to care you for these two days as we are accommodating all the delegates coming with entries and will be provided food. A registration fee of Rs. 200 should be submitted along with your entry with the principal's attestation which should reach the college before 23 rd December.
